Day One: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Distance: Approximately 350Kms, Drive Duration: About 5hours 30 mins.
On arrival at JKIA airport and after clearing with the customs desk, you will be met by the company representative and the driver guide. After the meet and greet you will be briefed about your safari then depart for a scenic drive to the Samburu National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Thika Super highway with a scenic view of the pineapple countryside. On the way you will have a brief stopover along the equator line for demonstration then proceed to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, there is little time to settle in or have a quick nap before you set off on the first game drive. Surrounded by interestingly shaped hills, you will fall in love with this region. Your afternoon drive will usually have you back in the lodge by sun down, but it all depends on what enthralling sightings you come across. Look out for the Samburu special five, which include the Beisa oryx, the Reticulated giraffe, the Gerenuk, Samburu ostrich, and the Grevy’s zebra, as well as the big cats, and everything else in between. Day Two: Samburu National Reserve
Start your day with an early morning wake-up call so that you never miss a moment of the action. A morning game drive is often the best time to see many animals on the move before the heat of the day sets in. You will return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to relax and absorb the unique atmosphere of Africa, as you gaze out over the plains. You can enjoy the refreshing swimming pool before and after lunch, and then it will be time to set out into the reserve again on your afternoon game drive. In addition to all the animals already mentioned, keep a look out for olive baboons, warthogs, and many species of antelope. There are also over 350 recorded species of birds in this reserve including kingfishers, sun birds, bee-eaters, storks, hornbills, and many raptors. Dinner and overnight at your reserved accommodation.

Day Three: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park
Distance: Approximately 296Kms, Drive Duration: About 5hours .
After early breakfast you will depart for Lake Nakuru. On the way you will have a brief stop at breath-taking Thomson falls along Nyahururu. You will then proceed to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch you will have game drives in this park which is also known as a bird watchers paradise. Flocks of flamingos are found on Lake Nakuru turning the it pink. It is also home to the endangered black & white rhino, big cats and other wild life. This park is also a prime area to see the Nocturnal leopard on a lucky day. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation as reserved. Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
Day Four: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Distance: Approximately 245Kms, Drive Duration: About 5hours.
Depart Lake Nakuru early in the morning to Maasai Mara driving along the beautiful flower farms of Naivasha. Upon arrival you will check in at the lodge have lunch and relax. You will thereafter take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. The Mara reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is a typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your first foray into Masai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation as reserved. Meal Included: Breakfast, lunch, & dinner.
Day Five: Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast you will proceed for a full day game drive in this finest reserve. The game drives take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as the Masai giraffe, Baboons, Warthogs, the bat eared foxes, the grey jackals, the spotted hyena, Topis, Impala, Hartebeests, wildebeest. The Savannah Elephants, the African cape buffaloes, Zebras and Hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see Black manned lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Leopards are usually nocturnal, but reasonably common. You will also be taken for a cultural visit to a Maasai Village. Back to the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation as reserved.

Day Six: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Nairobi / Departure
Distance: Approximately 260Kms, Drive Duration: About 5hours
After breakfast you check out and depart for Nairobi. On your way you will have a stopover for lunch at Narok Town. After lunch you will proceed to arrive Nairobi at about 1530 when you will be dropped at your place of accommodation within Nairobi or JKIA airport in time for your flight as scheduled. Activities on this last day will wholly depend on your departure schedule.
