You depart for Lake Naivasha at 0800 hrs with a stopover at the breath taking Great Rift valley Escarpment. Here you will view the formation and extension of the great rift. Thereafter, you will proceed down the bottom of the valley and head to Lake Naivasha.
On arrival, the driver assists you get the boat men, who do a briefing and proceed for the ride. The boat takes you on a scenic tour of the lake with a visit to the Crescent Island which is an Animal and Bird Sanctuary on the Eastern Side of Lake Naivasha. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs such as Maasai giraffe, zebra, dik diks, steenbok, impala, gazelles and, at night, hippos. The sanctuary has several walking trails and stunning views of Mt. Longonot, The Aberdares and the Mau Escarpment.

You spend some time wandering around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and calm broken only by the sounds of the Islands wild inhabitants.

At 1300 hrs, you will return to where you had left your driver, with his assistance you break for lunch at a restaurant of your choice.  Lunch is paid directly by self, depending on your menu choice. After lunch you depart at about 1500 hrs for a leisurely drive back to Nairobi.

On arrival you are dropped at your accommodation or JKIA airport in time depending on your departure schedule.
