Day One: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park
Distance: Approximately 173 Kms
Drive Duration: About 3hours 20 Mins
You will be met at JKIA airport or your Nairobi hotel in the morning, briefing, then you depart to Lake Naivasha with a stopover at the breath-taking Great Rift Valley escarpment. You will view the formation and extension of the great rift and thereafter proceed down the bottom of the valley and head to Lake Naivasha. On arrival the driver will assist you get to the boat man who will do a short briefing about the ride and proceed. The boat takes you on a scenic tour of the lake with a visit to the Crescent Island which is an Animal and Bird Sanctuary on the Eastern Side of the Lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs such as Maasai giraffe, zebra, dik diks, steenbok, impala, gazelles, at night hippos. You spend some time wandering around at your own pace and enjoy the peace and silence broken only by the sounds of the Islands wild inhabitants. You will thereafter return where you had left your driver and continue further to Lake Nakuru National park to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch you will start your afternoon game drive in this park which is also known as a bird watcher’s paradise. Flocks of flamingos are found on the lake turning it pink. It is also home to the endangered black and white Rhino, the big cats, other wildlife as well as a prime area to see the Nocturnal Leopard on a lucky day. At 1800 hrs you return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day Two: Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Distance: Approximately 245 Kms
Drive Duration: About 5 hours
Breakfast at 0700hrs. At 0800hrs you will depart to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s best Game Sanctuary. This drive will give you another chance to view the beautiful flower farms along the floor of the rift valley. You have a brief stopover at Narok town the proceed to arrive at about 1300hrs. Upon arrival you will check in, have lunch and relax as you prepare for your first thrilling game drive in the Maasai Mara game reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. The game reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile reverie woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your first foray into Maasai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush. Dinner & overnight at the lodge. Day Three: Maasai Mara National Reserve Full Day Game drives
On this day you will take breakfast then depart for a full day game drive with packed lunch. You will also have an optional visit to the Maasai Boma for cultural update. As you arrive at the village, excited children and adults welcome you with songs and dance, at certain times, one of the dancers will jump up and down gracefully. The jumps are several feet high! You will be invited to try jumping too, but to your dismay you will be no match for their levitation act!! You will then be welcome into one of the homesteads in the village, the village huts (called Manyatta) are made of cow dung and clay plastered over stick frames. It is a memorable experience of its own. You thereafter proceed with your game drive in search of the big five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Maasai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Back to lodge in the evening for dinner & overnight.

Day Four: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Serengeti National Park via Isebania
Distance: Approximately 350 Kms
Drive Duration: About 6 hours
On this day you will have an early breakfast on request, at 0700 hrs you will depart for the Kenya Tanzania Border of Isebania to arrive at about 1100 hrs. Here you will meet our Tanzanian representative, who will assist in clearing at the border then proceed with an enroute game drive. On your way the guide will select a suitable picnic site where you will have lunch then proceed with your afternoon game drives. Dinner & overnight at your accommodation as reserved.

Day Five: Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, you will depart for full day game drives at the northern plains of Serengeti with picnic lunch. This park is a home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. The resident population of lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, and birds is also impressive. The park covers 5,700 sq miles, (14,763 sq km). The Park can be divided into 3 sections. The popular southern/central part (Seronera Valley), is what the Maasai called the “serengit”, the land of endless plains. It’s classic savannah, dotted with acacias and filled with wildlife. The western corridor is marked by the Grumeti River, and has more forests and dense bush. The north, Lobo area, meets up with Kenya’s Masai Mara Reserve. After a long day of exploration, you will return to your accommodation for a deserved rest.

Day Six: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
Distance: Approximately 70 Kms
Drive Duration: About 1hour 30mins
Today you will have an enroute game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch, you will drive toward Ngorongoro Conservancy and descend to the crater. The jewel in Ngorongoro’s crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breath taking natural wonder. Once on the grassy crater floor, you may discover a large variety of grazing herbivores, as well as the predators that are attracted by this abundant supply of prey. You may see huge flocks of pink flamingo around the shores of the shallow Lake Magadi, while the surrounding swamp is inhabited by hippo. You will enjoy your picnic lunches at Nkoitoktok picnic site. Later ascend the crater and drive to the Lodge.

Day Seven: Ngorongoro Crater – Nairobi via Namanga
Distance: Approximately 440 Kms
Drive Duration: About 7hours
After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Namanga border where you will meet the Kenyan guide who will transfer you to JKIA airport to check in for your departure flight.
