5 Days 4 Nights Kenya to Tanzania Adventure: Amboseli National Park- Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

This tour start with a night stay at Amboseli National Park, also identified as the floor of Africa’s highest mountain; Mt. Kilimanjaro for its location. It continues to the home of tree climbing lions; Lake Manyara National Park via Namanga border. Explore the famous crater in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After the adventure you are transferred to Karatu for an overnight in preparation for your departure; transfer to Namanga border where you will meet the Kenyan guide, and proceed to JKIA airport to check in for your departure flight.

Day One: Nairobi  – Amboseli National Park

Distance: Approximately 250 Kms
Drive Duration: About 4hours
You will be met at JKIA airport in the morning, after meet and greet you will be briefed about your tour then you depart for Amboseli National Park, driving through the scenic Maasai / Kamba plains along Nairobi – Mombasa road, a brief stopover at Emali town then continue to arrive for lunch at the lodge / camp. After lunch you depart for the afternoon game drive. A visit to this park will confirm that while Mount Kilimanjaro is located in neighboring Tanzania, the best views are from the Kenyan side. On a clear day you will be able to get a splendid view of this snow -capped mountain; Africa’s highest mountain. This park is the perfect place to be, for you to see some of the big five up close – especially the elephants. If you are lucky, you can see a herd of more than 50 elephants in one go. All the big five are also well represented here. Other animals include; the Cheetah, Wild dogs, the Maasai Giraffe, Zebra, Crocodile in Lake Amboseli , the Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik- dik, Lesser Kudu, and Nocturnal Porcupine together with a prolific birdlife featuring over 600 species. Dinner & overnight at the lodge. Meal Included: Lunch & dinner.

Day Two: Amboseli National Park – Lake Manyara National Park

Distance: Approximately 260 Kms
Drive Duration: About 5hours
After breakfast you will check out and transfer to Namanga border where you will meet our Tanzania Representative to assist you on border crossing and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives with a picnic lunch. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is one of the most beautiful places in Africa. The Park is dramatically marked off by lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees of the groundwater forest, which provide a home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Further down, the forest opens up into woodland, grassland, swamps, and beyond, the soda lake itself where over 350 species of birds, including the lively flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe, and stork can be viewed. At the southern end of the Park are hot sulfur springs called Maji Moto. Manyara is noted for its numerous buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo, as well as a great variety of smaller animals, and of course the very elusive tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon drive to your lodge facing the great landscape.

Day Three:  Lake Manyara National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Distance: Approximately 80 Kms
Drive Duration: About 2hours
After breakfast you will check out and  depart for another day game drive heading to Ngorongoro conservation area. You arrive for late afternoon. Have lunch and relax by the pool or at the comfort of your room. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation as reserved. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch, & dinner.

Day Four: Ngorongoro Crater Day Game drives
After breakfast Descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. The bottom of the crater dotted with watering holes, shelters almost 30 000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the slopes of the volcano. You will find the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard among others. Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the floor, it is considered to be one of the Wonders of the Natural World and is a veritable haven for wildlife. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, later ascend and transfer to Karatu area. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation as reserved.

Day Five: Karatu – Nairobi Via Namanga Border

Distance: Approximately 400 Kms
Drive Duration: About 6hours with border cross procedures
After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Namanga border where you will meet the Kenyan guide who will transfer you to JKIA airport to check in for your departure flight.
